Napatree Bikes has been serving customers in Westerly, Charlestown, and surrounding towns in Rhode Island and Connecticut for over 23 years. We provide stress-free bike rentals by delivering bikes right to your vacation rental or hotel and picking them up at the end of your stay. There is no delivery fee for local rentals. Helmets and locks are included! We do not require a deposit at the time of reservation.

Our Story

Napatree Bikes has long been a trusted part of the Westerly and Charlestown summer experience. We were founded in 2002 by Gary Palmer, who built the business on exceptional service and long-standing relationships with generations of customers. Gary’s dedication to his customers and hands-on service created lasting relationships that continue today.

In June 2025, Anna and Teagan proudly purchased Napatree Bikes and are committed to continuing Gary’s legacy of reliability, care, and community connection. During the successful 2025 season, they loved meeting both returning and new customers and are excited to welcome everyone back for the 2026 season starting April 1.

FAQs

Yes, we deliver your bikes to hotels, Airbnbs, Vrbo, and other vacation rentals in Rhode Island and Connecticut.

We deliver bikes on the day of your scheduled delivery between 12pm and 6pm. We pick up bikes on the last day of your rental between 8am and 12pm.

Many areas in Misquamicut and Weekapaug are flat and perfect for our single speed beach cruisers. Areas with more hills are best for our 7sp cruisers.

Yes, you can choose to extend your rental. We do recommend that you notify us as soon as possible since availability is limited in the summer months.

We do not have a strict cancellation policy. However, we do request that you give us at least 48 hours notice if you need to cancel.
